Compared to on-land sports or exercises, there is less stress on the joints and bones when swimming because water helps support the body.

Swimming is a year-round exercise, either indoor or outdoor. You can have a swim anytime and even suit with your busy schedule. Sometimes, a swim at noon may even be more invigorating than a meal.

Almost all the muscles of your body are used when swimming. That is why swimming is considered to be a whole-body exercise. Swimming will strengthen your cardiovascular system. It will also make most of your major muscle groups work more vigorously. There will be improved muscle coordination and flexibility.

Swimming can even help you to lose body weight and shed off excess fat. Burning about eight extra calories per minute is possible with swimming. You only need to swim at a rate of 50 yards per minute.

Moreover, if you do the cycle fifteen times, then the equivalent burnt calorie is 20 calories.

Finally, if you continually swim with increasing endurance and strength, staying in shape can be attained and maintained. Swimming is great for your health. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead for a swim and make it a daily exercise.

For women, shaping the muscles of the thighs is an important fitness goal. A shapely lower body is considered very feminine, and the right proportion of the waist to the hips is part of the equation. It’s surprising, but true, thigh toning exercises can be done at home, without equipment and results can be seen in 4-6 weeks. Also, did you know that thigh and hip toning gadgets are not required if you know which exercises work, and how to do them. Most importantly, thigh exercises are most effective when combined with aerobic exercise and a healthy diet.

This means that women must not only do the right thigh exercises, but also include aerobic exercise and sound nutrition to get best results. The following exercises are the most effective front thigh exercises for women. The routine also includes inner thigh and rear thigh exercises.

For best results, start with 15-20 repetitions and one set. Increase gradually to 2 sets. Complete the routine at least 2 times a week for best results. This is an effective beginner to intermediate toning program. Please remember that these numbers are general guidelines only. For an optimum program tailored to your needs, please consult a certified personal trainer. If you have any injuries or medical ailments, please obtain a physicians clearance before starting any exercise program.

Wall Squat: Front Thigh Exercise.

Starting Position: – Place your upper back against a smooth wall. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, toes pointed slightly outward. Distribute your body weight equally between both feet and lean back against the wall. Movement: – Inhale, keeping your heels in contact with the floor at all times, slowly lower into a squat position while sliding down the wall. Exhale as you slowly straighten your legs, keeping your head and chest up, returning to the starting position. Repeat as required.

Standing Dumbbell Squats: Front Thigh Exercise.

Starting Position:- Hold a dumbbell in each hand and allow them to hang down at your sides. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, toes pointed slightly outward. Distribute your body weight equally between both feet. Movement:- Inhale, keeping your heels in contact with the floor at all times, slowly lower into a squat position. Exhale as you slowly straighten your legs, keeping your head and chest up, returning to the starting position.

Repeat as required. 5 lb dumbbells work well, but you can start with 2 lbs and then work your way up to 5 lbs within 3-5 weeks.

Lunges: Front Thigh Exercise.

Starting Position: – Assume a standing position with your feet slightly less than shoulder width apart. Grasp a barbell with a wider than shoulder width grip and place it across your shoulders. Movement: – Inhale, keeping your back vertical and slightly arched, slowly step forward with one leg making a long stride, lowering your body down slowly until your rear knee lightly touches the floor (if you cannot go as low as this, then work your way up to it over 2-3 weeks). Exhale and shift your weight backwards, taking one step (or 2-3 small steps if that sounds difficult) to return to the starting position. Repeat on the other side. Remember to consult your doctor before this or any other knee exercises if you have had any knee trouble!

Lying Face Down: Front Thigh Stretch

Starting Position: Lie on your stomach on a matt with your legs together. Movement: Reach behind you and grasp your right ankle with your left hand. Pull your right heel up as far as you can. Hold this position for thirty seconds. Repeat as required on other side. Please remember to hold for 10 seconds for this stretch.

Seated Split Stretch: Inner Thigh Stretch.

Starting Position: Sit on an exercise matt and spread your legs as far as you can. Movement: Lean to your right side and reach for your toes. Rest your hands on your toes or at your ankle. Hold this position for thirty seconds. Repeat as required on other side.

Seated Butterfly: Inner Thigh Exercise.

Starting Position: Sit on an exercise matt with your back straight. Movement: Bring the soles of your feet together and pull them in as close to your body as you can. Allow your hands to rest on your feet or to apply light pressure to your thighs. Hold this position for thirty seconds. Hold this position for 10 seconds. You will find this most effective if you gently push your knees down using your hands, be careful not to push too much.

Seated Hip Twist: Outer Thigh And Rear Thigh Exercise.

Starting Position: Sit on an exercise matt with your legs straight out in front of you. Movement: Bend your right knee and place your right foot over your left leg. Wrap your arms around your right knee and gently pull it in towards your left shoulder. Hold this position for thirty seconds. Repeat as required on other side. Remember to hold for 10 seconds.

Lying Leg Pull: Total Thigh Exercise.

Starting Position: Lie on your back on an exercise matt with your knees in the air and feet flat on the floor. Movement: Bring your right heel to rest on your left thigh. Loop your hands around your left thigh and pull it towards your chest. Hold this position for thirty seconds. Repeat as required on other side. Remember to hold for 10 seconds in each set.

Yet when was the last time you really thought about what you need to do to take care of it? Throughout your life, genetic and environmental factors will cause a lot of wear and tear to your skin. But you are never too young or too old to start taking care of your skin. In fact, skin care and protection should be an essential part of your health, fitness, and beauty regime. If you take care of your skin, your skin will take care of you! If your stuck in a skin care rut, or if you are just looking to learn a bit more about the basics of skin care, read on to learn more about this important step in your daily activities.

The Essentials of Skin Care

The first step to taking care of your skin is preventing damage. Sun, wind, pollutants, and simply aging can degrade the condition of your skin. Common complaints include dry and itchy skin, wrinkles, sagging, color changes, and age spots. There are steps that you can take to keep you skin looking and feeling its best.

Exercise, rest, and good nutrition lay the foundation for beautiful, healthy skin, inside and out. A proper diet is not only good for your overall health, it also helps to ensure that your skin will receive all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to maintain and repair cells. Drinking purified water is another good way to keep your skin healthy. Water helps to hydrate the skin and move waste and nutrients through the system. It is very effective mixing a teaspoon or capful of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in with your water. Do not drink Tap Water.

The most important way to care for your skin is to protect it from the damaging rays of the sun. Ultraviolet radiation damages the skin and can lead to wrinkles, premature aging, age spots, and cancer. Take extra precautions to make sure your skin is not exposed to the sun’s rays. Use a natural sunscreen, or a moisturizer that contains sunscreen (at least SPF 15) everyday. Your skin does need some sunlight – 10-15 minutes of direct exposure daily.

Dry skin is very common, especially with age. Older skin has fewer sweat and oil glands than younger skin. Dry skin may be caused by frequent baths, certain cosmetics or medications. But whatever the cause, there are ways to alleviate the itchiness associated with it. Avoid using harsh soaps when bathing, and if possible, cut back on the number of baths or showers each week. A sponge bath with warm water may help to clean and revive skin without stripping the skin of its valuable moisturizers. When you do use soap, try using a natural very mild soap that does not contain any dyes, parabens or perfumes. Follow up the bath with a moisturizing lotion like Parfait Visage, concentrating on problem dry areas. A good all natural moisturizer is one of the foundations for a healthy skin care regimen. Continue moisturizing throughout the day to keep skin healthy. Your hands and face are particularly susceptible to daily damage, and may need to be moisturized several times.

A Skin Care Routine

A skin care routine does not have to be elaborate in order to be effective. But you should develop some kind of skin care routine based on your skin type, daily activities, and nutritional needs so that you can be sure you are taking the very best care of your skin. Following a daily skin care regime will also allow you to more closely evaluate your skin for abnormalities. Here’s a simple routine that you can adapt to fit your needs:

1. Cleanse: Wash your skin thoroughly on a daily basis to remove the dirt, debris, pollutants, and perspiration that accumulates on a daily basis. If you have dry or sensitive skin, use only warm water to wash your skin and use a mild natural cleanser every few days like the product Oxy-Skin. If you have normal or oily skin, be sure to wash with a gentle cleanser on a daily basis. Be sure to brush your teeth before washing your face, as toothpaste residue can irritate sensitive facial skin.
2. Moisturize: Unless your skin is very oily, you will want to use a moisturizer everyday to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Your skin needs moisturizer all year long as both the indoor winter heat, and summer sun can be equally damaging to your skin. The most advanced product is “Parfait Visage” which is used for the face.
3. Protect: Use a natural sunscreen when possible, regardless of whether or not you plan on spending much time in the sun. The sun’s rays are very damaging and if you get in the habit of applying sunscreen everyday, you will never be left without protection. The suns most beneficial rays occur at sunrise and sunset.

Skin Care Products

There are several types of skin care products that may make a useful additional to your daily skin care. These include cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, exfoliants, facial cleansers, toners, retonoids, herbal and nutrient supplements, and cosmetics.

Having long beautiful hair is one of the dreams of many women out there. But first up some reality check, if you think that you can grow yours very long overnight using natural means then you’re wrong. The only way to do this is to use extensions or use awig. The drawback of extensions is that they can cause damage to your hair, plus it might look fake if you don’t do it just right. Natural,healthy hair growth for the average person is about half an inch per month. Here are some quick tips to make yours healthy and maximize it’s
natural growth potential.

-Try to keep yourself healthy by having more exercise and more sleep.

-Trim it every month to get rid of dry and split ends.

-Avoid over brushing it. Over brushing can cause damage and breakage.

-Avoid over washing your hair. Over washing eliminates the natural oil produced by your scalp to keep your hair healthy.

-Avoid coloring or dyes. If you really must use coloring then use natural dye which offers moisturizing instead.

-Consume more food that is rich in protein. Examples are grains, poultry, nuts, vegetables, fruits and eggs.

-Consider taking vitamin supplements which contain any of the following, flaxseed oil, beta-carotene, B complexes, biotin, biosil, zinc, magnesium,sulfur, silica and nettle.

-Protect your hair from the elements by wearing a scarf or cap when going outdoors.

-Stimulate blood flow on your scalp by massaging it with your finger tips.

-To de-tangle, use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.

The above healthy quick tips should keep your growing potential at maximum
at all times. Remember to be patient and diligent in keeping yours
healthy. It won’t be long before you will have the long hair that
you’ve always wanted.

Good products do not have to be costly. The first and most empowering thing to be done is accept what you have. No matter the hair type you have, you’re best off accepting and working with it. If it’s straight, curly, thin, think or grey, enjoy that. There’s no use wishing and wanting for something you don’t have. Using chemical means to achieve other than what you have will only damage your hair, cost you a lot of time and money and still not attain the end goal. Your hair is what it is, accept it, be happy with it and move on enjoying more important things in life. Big bonus, the opposite sex over whelming likes natural hair over processed high maintenance hair. So relax buy yourself the simple products that work best for your hair type and save your energy for more tangible goals.

Simply put good healthy foods are good for your hair. We all know that junk food is called junk food for a good reason. Want your hair to look like junk, NO, well don’t eat it then. Good food is also very good for the exterior of your locks. I have dry hair and find olive oil to be a priceless commodity.

My hair is really dry, curly and red. I drench my locks with olive oil at least once a week and rinse it out with a goo

d conditioner for dry hair. I use shampoo only about once a month and I do so just to get the hair spray out I use on my bang area, on occasions. Other than that I condition my hair clean. It does need to be hydrated and often. I do this by rinsing well in the shower and conditioning only. Shampoo only dries my hair out and leaves it unmanageable.

Finally, avoid excessive color, perms and other harsh chemical products. The closer you allow your hair to be to its natural state, the more beautiful it will be. Take a moment today and look at children. Don’t they have great hair? It’s shiny, bouncy and just beautiful. Think for a moment of all the things they put on their hair. Hum, get the picture. Remember to be kind to your hair and not pulling, breaking or stressing it in day to day activities. Last but not least, for those of us with long hair, put it up in a gentle up do or pony tail at bedtime. Sweet Dreams…

Much Love and Success,
Katie

Perfect scheduling of your hair care procedures is very important for healthy treatment of your hair. It is very important to match correct timing and ideal products in order to receive perfect result and have healthy, strong, and silky locks.

Obviously, it’s not enough to just wash and condition your hair to achieve a healthy look. According to the recent polls, people who never go further than washing and drying are not satisfied with the state of their hair health.

The key to achieving great healthy locks is designing your personal hair treatment program. By doing this you will achieve great results in less time. You will have healthy hair and good mood.

Moreover, you’ll be able at last to have any hairstyle you want. Nothing will stop you from making the hottest hairstyle possible, and you will create that Sedu hairstyle you’ve always wanted to have. Everybody will go nuts with jealousy about how great you look with your perfect and gorgeous Sedu hairstyle.

So, let’s start. Make sure to include all of the following to achieve the best results. Remember that hard work brings double profit.

Section 1: Hair Washing

Though all of us wash their hair, many of us do it in a wrong way. This of course can’t benefit to the health of your hair.

To wash the hair correctly you should apply small amount of shampoo to your hair. Massage your hair gently until you form the foam hat around your head. Rinse the hair with warm water. Then rinse again for a minute only with the mildly hot water. It opens up the cuticle of the hair to help the conditioner absorb.

You should wash your hair 3 times a week at least. If you can manage it, make hair washing your daily routine. By doing so you ensure cleanness of your hair that is the first step to its health.

Shampoo is one of the most necessary hygienic products. So, it should also be chosen correctly to match your hair type, level of hair damage, or color pattern.

If you wash your hair correctly you avoid over drying of the scalp and of the hair itself. This is the first step to healthy and Sedu hairstyle.

Section 2: Hair Conditioning

This section of hair treatment is usually omitted by the greatest part of people. But it is wrong. Conditioners were made to let you easily comb your hair, protect hair from frizz or pulling during the blowdrying and combing.

When wet, our hair has greater elasticity than when it is dry. So, if you do not use the conditioner, you may stretch your hair half its normal length, which is not good for its health.

That’s why when you omit conditioning stage of the hair treatment process; you absolutely agree to have your hair pulled, frizzy, or damaged.

To apply conditioner follow these steps:

•	After washing out shampoo with warm and hot water, squeeze as much moisture out of the hair as possible;

•	Apply small amount of the conditioner on the hair and spread it along the hair length;

•	Put on the shower cap to avoid loose of the conditioner through dripping, and leave for 5 min;

•	Rinse the hair with the warm water and then with the cold water;

•	Squeeze the moisture, wrap the head with the towel for a minute or two;

•	Remove the towel and apply leave-in conditioner, spread it along the hair length;

•	Let your hair air dry or make a blow drying.

Application of the conditioner is vital to eliminate frizz in the hair. You ensure its smoothness, and move one more step towards Sedu hairstyle.

Section 3: Hair Masks and Serums

Hair masks and serums are usually applied with, or instead of the conditioner. They are used to eliminate frizz, add volume, or improve state of hair health.

The best schedule for applying hair mask/serum is twice a week for a month. Then make a break for a month and apply again. If the hair is over processed, you can apply mask/serum up to four times a week.

To apply hair mask/serum follow these steps:

•	Wash your hair and towel dry it;

•	Apply conditioner, if needed;

•	Apply hair mask/serum and comb hair from roots to tips to distribute the product;

•	Twist your hair on the back and put a shower cap;

•	Cover your head with the towel and leave for the recommended time;

•	Rinse the hair and let it air dry.

It is better to air dry the hair when applying hair masks/serums. Masks and serums are usually more effective for the overprocessed hair, than conditioner. They help to cure hair damage, add strength to the hair cuticles and revive hair in general.

By applying hair masks and serums you protect your hair against external influence, thus moving closer to Sedu Beauty.

The best treatment for dry hair is Moroccan Oil.

Section 4: Blow Drying

Blow drying is very important in hair care schedule because it is one of the most used procedures in our everyday hair care routine.

So, what you should and what you shouldn’t do when or if blow drying the hair:
1. You shouldn’t blow dry your hair every day. Establish blow-dry-free days for your hair. It will most certainly thank you for this.

2.	You should towel dry your hair completely before blow drying.

3.	You shouldn’t blow dry soaky wet hair. Remove moisture first, and then switch to a cool setting to lock in shape and curl.

4.	You should dry the bottom part of the hair first because otherwise you may have damp hair underneath of the over dried one.

5.	You shouldn’t bring blow dryer closer than ½ feet to your hair, or you will over dry the scalp.

Of course, when you dry your hair in the morning it is impossible to air dry the hair. But careful and cautious treatment of hair can reduce the harmful effect of the blow drying. Make regular trims to help your hair recover quickly and gain extra force. Switch to the thermal protective products that coat and protect your cuticle.

Having your hair dry before styling is crucial, as wet or damp hair can be severely damaged during straightening or curling. Such damage will most certainly spoil your Sedu hairstyle.

Section 5: Styling

Styling is one of the essential parts of the hair treatment when we speak about our overall image. By styling I mean applying of the styling products and creating some shape of your hair. It includes straightening, curling, updoing, plaiting, braiding, and so on.

Styling shouldn’t be done everyday, as it is most harmful for our hair. Your hair needs the same days off as with the blow drying.

Be careful with applying hot tools like straightening or curling irons. Take care to follow all instructions and use recommended temperature set.

Styling products like mousse or wax should be washed out before going to sleep, or in the morning you will have the most dreadful tangles you’ve ever seen.

However, in the same time styling helps to tame the hair. This procedure appears of the primary importance for people with unmanageable or uncontrollable hair. So, don’t be afraid to use it in Sedu hairstyling.

Section 6: Cutting

Hair cuts are essential for every one with no regard to the length of hair. Moreover, the longer the hair the more important it is to trim the ends regularly.

Recommended schedule for ends’ trimming is 8-10 weeks for squarely cut long hair.

If you have a hair cut, you need fresh-ups according to the following pattern:

•	3-4 weeks for short haircuts;

•	5-6 weeks for medium haircuts;

•	6-7 weeks for long haircuts.

Trimming is also necessary in order to avoid split ends and secure general health of the hair itself, because your hair doesn’t waste its inner forces and nutrition to cure damaged ends.

So, now after we went through all procedures necessary to have healthy, smooth and silky Sedu hairstyle, all you need to do is to arrange personal hair care schedule that will suit your hair type and the level of the hair damage.

This schedule will ensure that you will be able to create perfect healthy, smooth, and silky Sedu hairstyle. From now on, forget about bad hair days.

If you’re reading this you’re probably a fan of natural healthy skin care. Even if you don’t know where to start yet in finding the best skin care products you’ve probably decided to get away from adding even more toxins to your daily routine by avoiding products loaded with parabens and sulfates.

The problem is nasty stuff turns up all over the place.

First, I’d like to say that it wasn’t that long ago I was using whatever was available and not being real concerned about my skin care products until I started learning about some of the nasty ingredients that go into many of the big name products.

After I learned about the dangers of parabens and sulfates–they’ve been linked to cancer–I figured I didn’t need any help in finding pollutants and toxins in my environment. So, I started looking around for more natural ways to care for my skin.

Unfortunately, even with some of the so-called natural products on the market, you still have to read the labels to make sure they don’t contain ingredients like mineral oil. Mineral oil is a byproduct of the crude oil industry and is a waste product. It’s used by many companies as a cheap filler ingredient to which more expensive ingredients can be added.

Avoid mineral oil, it suffocates your skin by creating a barrier that traps toxins in and doesn’t let your skin breathe.

Natural skin care should be include plenty of plant based natural ingredients that are safe enough to eat. After all, whatever you put on your skin will end up in your bloodstream!

Luckily, there are some fantastic ingredients available that will reduce wrinkles and help your body slow down aging from the inside out. Some of these may be familiar to you. Others might not be, but know that they’ve been used by people around the world for centuries to moisturize skin and prevent the signs of aging.

Some of the simplest are the cheapest, like vasaline intensive care.

Top skin care ingredients include phytessence wakame, jojoba oil and shea butter, active manuka honey and babbassu from the Amazon rainforest. These ingredients will moisturize your skin, rebuild collagen and elastin fibers and regenerate cell turnover–all of which will keep you looking younger longer.

Wouldn’t it be great to provide your skin with necessary vitamins and nutrients to help it stay fresh and radiant? You can do this with natural healthy skin care andgive yourself peace of mind that you’re doing something good for your health.
